IPA Diver Illustration
This beer has a long and storied history with Block 15 – brewed with a recipe developed over a decade of experimenting with brewing techniques and hop varietals. The evolution of this IPA morphed into what is now Block 15 IPA also mirrors the development of what has become an iconic mainstay — the diver artwork.
In 2018, Block 15 commissioned Iron Canvas Studios to create a large canvas mural featuring their reoccurring diver motif to hang in their downtown pub. We pulled inspiration from previous renditions of the diver that first appeared in 2009. Our version added more detail, complexity and polish to the diver — complete with barrels bursting with brew and a treasure chest brimming with bottles and cans.
In addition to the year-round Block 15 IPA can, our version of the diver has also made appearances on to-go crowlers and apparel such as t-shirts, hats and hoodies. Check them out here!
